Organised by Organic Monitor, the aim of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit is to encourage sustainability in the beauty industry by bringing together key stake-holders and debate key issues in a high-level forum. The Latin American edition will be hosted in São Paulo (10-11 Sep), whilst the European edition will take place in Paris (24-26 Nov).
About 160 senior executives from the beauty industry convened in Paris at the previous European edition of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit on 21-23rd October 2013. This edition focused on green formulations, distribution innovations and sustainable packaging. An interactive workshop discussed technical issues involved with using green emulsifiers, surfactants and emollients.
