Sustainable Cosmetics Summit...
Changing the face of the beauty industry by sustainable development

COVID-19 is having a major impact on the cosmetics industry. It has disrupted ingredient supply chains, production processes, as well as the distribution and retailing of finished products. This new European edition of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit will cover the implications of the coronavirus crisis with a green lens. Contact us to get the detailed agenda.

What are the sustainability lessons from the coronavirus crisis? How can cosmetic & ingredient firms make their supply chains more resilient? What changes are happening in distribution and retailing of cosmetics & personal care products? How is consumer behaviour changing? How are green & sustainability issues evolving in the current climate? How can operators prepare for a new green order? Such questions will be addressed in a high-level forum.

Since 2009, the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit has been encouraging sustainability in the beauty industry by bringing together key stake-holders and debating major industry issues. This new virtual edition will take place on 2-4th November, CET time. More details

The previous (Europe 2019) edition focused on closing nutrient loops. The summit discussed approaches to change formulations, packaging, and consumption of cosmetics & personal care products to help prepare for a circular economy. An update was given on the growing palette of green materials, whilst another session highlighted some of the practical ways companies can reduce their packaging impacts.
