The tenth North American edition of this executive summit was hosted on 8-10th May. Over 140 senior executives convened in New York City to debate pressing sustainability issues facing the beauty industry. Green materials continue to make headway in cosmetic & personal care applications. An update was given on the raw materials that have lower environmental and / or health impacts. Organized by Ecovia Intelligence (formerly Organic Monitor), the aim of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit is to encourage sustainability in the beauty industry by bringing together key stake-holders and debate major industry issues. The next edition will be hosted in Paris on 4-6th November.
